Don Det travel photography – Laos

Don Det and Don Khon islands are part of the so-called ‘4000 islands’. The scenery takes place alongside the Mekong River in Southern Laos. If you are an active person, there is definitely not much to do there.

Both islands are meant to be amongst the chillest places on earth. It feels like time is slowing down. You spend a lot of time waiting for pretty much everything you do. Does it really matter? Lao people often use the term ‘Bor Pen Yan’ which literally means no problem. So, let’s chill out!

In my opinion, the only one highlight is the crazy sunset to enjoy on the west coast of Don Det!
