Siem Reap is the fifth largest city of Cambodia. The city is quite dynamic at night with a number of pubs and restaurants offering Khmer specials. Amok is one of them. It is a delicious blend of sweet curry, meat and vegetables!
The Archeological Park of Angkor is noted as a UNESCO Heritage Site and located at about 10km to the north side of Siem Reap. The site showcases temples of the Khmer Empire from the 9th to the 15th century.
As the park stretches over 400km2, hiring a tuktuk driver on a 3 day trip is the most enjoyable way to explore the area. Unless you need to rush it, you will get bored seeing temples over temples on a day or two. I would highly recommend Vat, our tuktuk driver, for his historical knowledge and his open-mindedness. He highly contributed to this awesome experience while visiting the Archeological Park of Angkor. Feel free to reach him on his whatsapp +85512491227!
