Your spaceship has just landed on Putrajaya. We are in 2030, welcome to the future! Putrajaya is the administrative capital of Malaysia. The city is located in the Southern part of Kuala Lumpur. If you are an avid fan of architecture, Putrajaya is the only one place you should not miss in Malaysia.
Putrajaya is the symbol of Malaysia’s economic ambition and a demonstration of architectural creativity. Not only there is a countless number of futuristic buildings but Putrajaya is also home to two of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia: Masjid Putra also known as the Pink mosque and Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.
It is easily doable on a day trip from Kuala Lumpur. As usual, there is a cheap way to get there hopping on the local bus N°501 which departs from MyDin station in Chinatown. It is a short 40-minute bus journey.
